alexENGGIST is an acoustic indie-pop solo act striking out on his own for the first time. Previously a member of Richmond, Virginia based jam band Falling Into Grace, Alex is embarking on a solo effort while his bandmates and good friends are off to college. For anyone who has heard their work before, expect something a little more mature and dramatic musically and lyrically from his upcoming EP "Brash&Hopeful" out soon on Stranger Than Fiction Records. Always be on the lookout for a live performance where Alex's creativity and raw vocals don't exactly shine through but slowly win you over like aquiring a taste for beer. He is quoted as saying "Someone once told me I sound like a depressing John Mayer who smokes too much and sounds absolutely nothing like John Mayer, so thats how I describe my voice to people who haven't heard it." Alex stands poised to take on Richmond and win over every last scene kid out there so be ready when he hits a stage near you.
