Indie newcomer Ben Willson's solo effort benvolio's sound hails from such reknowned acts as Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five, Death Cab for Cutie, and Coldplay. His music is played through the moods and emotions he wants them to depict; more often than not, they depict a dark but warm atmosphere -- just the sort of "lighter black" for which he has chosen to name his first EP.
